It is called, 이태원 맥주집 (Itaewon Maekju Jip) which means 'Itaewon beer place.' And the thing is, it is located just right next to the 'Dan-bam no.1' the shooting place where Park Sae-Ro-Yi opened his own pub for the first time in his life. Now the shooting place is empty though there are still loads of visitors who reminds the scenes of Itaewon Class.
You can easily find the entrance towards the second floor when you turn right after you take a commemorative photo in front of Dan-bam.
When you get in, you can see the wide-opened window seats and still can watch Dan-bam and those crowds while you enjoying the best-crafted lager in Itaewon.
Itaewon Maekju Jip (이태원 맥주집) is the best place ever to enjoy the fresh, well made 'Terra' craft beer although the number of taps is not a lot. They chose the best one or two options of beer, wine, high-balls and other cocktails that work perfectly with there food.
I was not hungry at all but ended up finishing two dishes of hot wings and fried calamari & shrimp because of the quality of the food. The sauces and side salads were amazingly delicious. It is quite Japanese styled but still can taste Korean, but also well westernized. You could already see the fusion style even from its interiors.
Especially, the fried calamari and shrimp was simply fantastic with the craft beer. Its skin was super crunchy yet very soft, not even greasy. The price of all the menu was reasonable enough. For example, this calamari & shrimp dish was only 18,000 KRW (about 15 USD) and a pint of craft beer was 5,000 KRW (4.12 USD).
The closest station from Itaewon Maekju jip is Noksapyeong, line number 6. After we beat the Corona 19 down, we must visit this place first to shout cheers!
